Duplo Workstations and Pony Wall for Thinkery

July
2026

Part of a museum refresh and partnership with Lego, our exhibits team designed Duplo and Lego workstations that were 3-axis CNC routed from Baltic Birch plywood. The parts were stained and given a polyurethane coat. Lego and Duplo buildplates were attached to the workstations with epoxy. The divider walls have plexiglass inserts for the bins and display cases. This project taught me the importance of detailed and meticulous planning.

Flow Wall Rescaling and Installation for Thinkery

April
2026

One of the exhibits had to be moved within the museum and therefore scaled down. The exhibit encourages the guest to send a whiffle ball flying through a series of clear tubes powered by a leaf blower. After desinstalling the exhibit, I drywall patched and painted the old wall, touched up the new wall, did a couple calculations in SolidWorks to keep the flow of the ball the same while reducing the number of turns and overall length and reinstalled it in the new space.

Forts Exhibit Installation for Thinkery

May 2026

The forts exhibit previously existed in two separated locations within the museum and needed to be reinstalled into one gallery. The structures were disassembled into their smallest parts, including a solid 600lb table and reconstructed in the new space. The chair fountain was concrete anchored into the floor and new wiring for each of the lamps was run through the chair arch to a series of switches by the stairs.
